The Wishbone Project, comprised of a series of 95 mining claims, covers a VMS district-scale land package over the highly prospective extension of the Hackett River Greenstone belt. The belt includes the Hackett River project and extends 150 km to the south. It has received minimal historical exploration work. The majority of claims on the north of the belt surrounding Hackett River have been included in the sale to Xstrata; however the south eastern portion of the property hosts a number of iron formation hosted targets analogous to geology found at Back River.
In June of 2011, the Company mobilized rigs to these targets to evaluate them for further drilling and potential new gold discoveries. In August 2011, a new discovery was made on the Wishbone belt. The results of this drilling are currently being assessed.
