The Wishbone Greenstone Belt, comprised of a series of 95 mining claims, covers a VMS district-scale land package over the highly prospective extension of the Hackett River Greenstone belt. The belt includes Glencore PLC's Hackett River silver-zinc project, and extends 150 km to the south. It has received minimal historical exploration work. The majority of claims on the north of the belt surrounding Hackett River were included in the transaction with Glencore (then Xstrata Zinc) in 2011 which saw Sabina retain a significant silver royalty. Sabina also retained the south eastern portion of the property which has a number of iron formation hosted targets analogous to the geology found on Sabina's Back River Gold Project located 50km to the east.
Little work has been completed on the Wishbone property in the last four years as the focus for the Company has been on advancing the Back River Project. Wishbone remains a highly prospective belt for future exploration and potential new discoveries.
